Every business with a monitored alarm should have at least two nominated key holders who are available 24/7 so they can be contacted if the alarm is activated whilst the premises are unoccupied.

But key holders put themselves at risk when responding to alarms out of hours! Additionally if key staff are the nominated key holders and they are called out during the night or early morning they may not be available for work the next day.  

Abacus can take on the responsibility as your prime key holder, that way if your alarm system activates at any time, a professional key response officer will investigate for you. Our officer will assess you premises and take any necessary action to secure your building and reset the alarm. This may include notifying the police, boarding up services, glaziers, locksmiths as agreed in advance.

A detailed report of the action taken will be produced for your information.
